"The Young Citizen" concludes 13 meetings on community media and photography

Within the Young Citizen project, the
YWCA concluded 13 meetings on "Community Media and Photography", with
the participation of 130 students from
the age group (12-17 years).
The meetings included training on the
basics of photography using smartphones and digital cameras to produce short
videos and still images, how to use social media and its tools for campaigns,
advocacy messages, in addition to learning about free tools and applications on
smartphones and how to use them in the work of student campaigns.
The "Young Citizen" project is
implemented in cooperation with 13 local partners, and
targets school students within the age group between 13-19 years in the West
Bank regions, and young men and women in the age group between 20-25 years as
support groups for the project, so that they have opportunities to develop
their skills and competencies and to be effective leaders.
