YWCA Palestine Holds a Follow-Up Workshop for "Shamal" Field Team

The YWCA of Palestine held a workshop, on Saturday 19 February, at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Al Bireh, to follow up with "ٍShamal" field team, consisting of female lawyers, social workers, and journalists. The workshop touched on data-preservation methods, and the guidelines for legal and psychological counselling. The participants also shared their field work updates and were briefed on and engaged in the awareness campaign being implemented within "Shamal" around cybercrime under the slogan "Safe Online". "Shamal" project, funded by UN Women Palestine, aims to promote the protection and reintegration of women and girls subjected to violence as well as survivors in marginalized areas in Palestine by targeting refugee camps, in addition to raising awareness of the protection mechanisms and the referral system.
