The YWCA of Palestine Implements the Sheikh Jarrah Initiative

The YWCA of Palestine, in cooperation with the YMCA of Gaza, partner organizations and youth groups within "Makani" project, implemented the "Sheikh Jarrah"  initiative in response to repercussions of the latest aggression on Gaza in May 2021. The initiative aimed to contribute to mitigating the effects of the aggression on all aspects of life in Gaza, the economic, social and psychological. It also sought to empower youth and women by responding to their needs.
