Young Volunteers Participate in Training about the Democratic Electoral Process of Student Parliament

The YWCA of Palestine organized two 18-hour training workshops for 30 young women and men volunteers within the Y Youth Clubs/Young Citizen project. The overall objective of the workshops was to promote youth civic engagement and increase the knowledge of the participants of the electoral and the political system in Palestine as well as the process of student parliament election. The volunteers will transfer the knowledge and skills gained to school students in their communities. Later on, the members of the student parliament will design and carry out advocacy campaigns related to human and youth rights and will organize different awareness and non-formal learning activities in their communities.
