Vocational Training

In line with our belief in the importance of vocational training as one of the means of economic empowerment, the YWCA of Palestine has established two vocational training centers, one in Ramallah and another in Jerusalem. Vocational training is one of the oldest projects of the association and it aims to provide women and youth with the needed resources and opportunities to be able to compete in the labor market.

The project targets:

- High school graduates aged 18 – 25 who do not have the qualifications or cannot afford to go to university

- Housewives older than 25 years

- University graduates looking for a job and would like to earn the needed qualifications to compete in the labor market

- Employees of companies and organizations who would like to build their capacities in specialized fields
