Manarat
"Manarat" is a project implemented through funding from the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund and in partnership with several local organizations in eight localities in the governorate of Hebron. The project aims to empower and build the capacity of eight women’s community-based organizations and 160 young women enabling them to compete in the labor market and have access to sources of income so they can live a decent life.
The project targets community-based
organizations, specifically women’s centers and cooperatives, in addition to
unemployed young women aged 18 – 28 in the eight targeted localities.
The Project activities include:
- Interventions related to economic empowerment and civic engagement
- Capacity-building workshops for board members of the targeted organizations with the aim of enhancing their performance
