Hanan Kassis was born in the city of Beit Jala and currently works as a science teacher for the second, third, and fourth grades. She is known for her strong passion for education and for instilling a love of knowledge in her students.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Teaching Methods, in addition to a Diploma in Education, which has enabled her to apply modern teaching strategies that foster students’ creative and critical thinking skills.
Alongside her teaching role, Hanan actively participates in three pioneering educational programs at her school:
• The Student Mediation Program, which aims to promote a culture of dialogue and constructive conflict resolution.
• The Student Leadership Program, which develops students’ sense of responsibility and initiative.
• The Psychological Trauma Program, which focuses on providing psychological support to students and helping them adapt to various pressures and challenges.
