Angela Kassis studies Human Rights and Internarional Law at Al Quds Bard College. She is a Remote Ambassador for Open Society University Network (OSUN) since August 2022, she was appointed as a Community Leader of the OSUN Transnational Feminism Project. she has been leading an initiative to fight domestic violence in Palestine. Thanks to her communication skills and network, she was able to help an abused Palestinian girl who was threatened to get killed by her uncles by connecting her to other organizations and now she is safe in a safe house.Angela constantly seeks opportunities to grow as a leader and as a person, and due to her amazing leadership skills, she was invited to participate in the OSUN Get Engaged Conference in July 2022, which is a conference that brings together undergraduate students to strengthen a global network of leaders and innovators who are working with community partners to develop solutions to local and global challenges. Moreover, as she seeks to grow her experience in the women's rights advocacy field, she spends many hours volunteering in many community-based activities and events. She currently serves as the minutes secretary at the Union Board of the YWCA.
